IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer in Raleigh, North Carolina, to lead and support the design, analysis, implementation, and construction administration of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for education and government/municipal building projects. The role includes project planning, budgeting, scheduling, client communication, design reviews, quality control, mentoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration, with a strong emphasis on plumbing design and high-performance, energy-efficient building design. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, an active Professional Engineer license, at least five years of building-design consulting experience, proficiency with engineering, HVAC load calculation, BIM, and office software, and willingness to travel up to 15% are required.
