KBR is hiring a Mid Astro Software Engineer to develop secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments for space-domain and satellite-communication systems. The role focuses on Java, Kubernetes or Docker, CI/CD, GitOps, DevSecOps, cloud technologies, and astrodynamics algorithms, while also supporting legacy Fortran and C++ systems. Candidates need a Secret Clearance or above, 3–5 years of web-application and cloud experience, and experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes or Docker, CI/CD, and related development practices. The position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with basic compensation of $135,000–$160,000.
