KBR is hiring a Mid Software Engineer to support the Air Force Research Laboratory’s development team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, or Beavercreek, Ohio. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-velocity data stream processing systems, implementing requirements through delivery, participating in code reviews and architecture discussions, and maintaining technical documentation. Candidates need 3–5 years of professional software development experience, full-lifecycle experience, Java, Python, or another object-oriented language experience, data processing or integration experience, and a U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance with U.S. citizenship. The position is 100% onsite at one of the two locations, with minimal travel and standard working hours.
