Description
The Funeral Home Operations Manager manages and coordinates the daily operations of a funeral home, cemetery, and/or crematory. The role oversees accounting and cash-control activities, inventory and merchandise orders, funeral-related installations, customer service, payroll and human-resources processes, compliance audits, reporting, and employee development. It requires a high school diploma, GED, or diploma-training completion, plus two years of bookkeeping, general office, clerical accounting, or accounts payable experience, along with strong computer, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
