Description
The Optical Technician dispenses and fits glasses and contact lenses from optometrist and ophthalmologist prescriptions, assists patients with frame selection, collects eye measurements, recommends lenses and coatings, repairs and adjusts frames, and supports retail sales and patient care. The role is primarily performed in an office or clinical setting, may require travel, and requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of customer or patient interaction experience, and proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
