Description
The Paver Equipment Operator II operates asphalt pavers to spread and level paving material on highways, streets, and commercial projects while maintaining density, grade, smoothness, and material yield. The role also troubleshoots equipment, coordinates haul trucks, performs safety inspections and minor field repairs, mentors junior operators, and oversees end-of-shift cleaning. It requires a high school diploma, GED, or relevant experience, at least three years of heavy equipment operations experience in asphalt paving, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The hiring range is $27–$36 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits for full-time employees.
