Description
The Hospital Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting, including medication-order review, drug-interaction monitoring, medication therapy management, patient counseling, medication reconciliation, IV and chemotherapy preparation, pharmacy operations, medication safety, regulatory compliance, and staff mentoring. The role requires a California pharmacist license, ACLS certification, and AHA BLS Healthcare certification, with hospital pharmacy experience and PGY1 residency completion preferred. The position offers variable shifts, including 10-hour shifts and weekend work as needed, with hourly pay ranging from $72.290 to $104.470.
