Kitware is hiring a Physics-Based Modeling Researcher for its Computer Vision team to develop computational and mathematical models of the human body and physiology, create patient-specific models from medical imaging, design biomechanical, physiological, and multi-physics simulations, integrate models into software, validate them with experimental or clinical data, and publish research findings. The role requires a master’s degree plus two years of experience or a PhD in a relevant biomedical or computational field, C++ or Python programming, scientific computing, and familiarity with medical imaging; U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance eligibility are required. Preferred qualifications include Pulse Physiology Engine, finite element analysis, biomechanics, cardiovascular modeling, digital twins, and machine learning.
