Description
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring a full-time Post-Doc Research Associate for a 12-month temporary appointment in cancer biology and translational cancer therapeutics. The researcher will investigate DNA damage response, DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, oncogenic and immune signaling, and therapeutic resistance in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma through molecular, biochemical, cellular, and translational approaches. Responsibilities include designing and performing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, preparing manuscripts, developing grants, and collaborating in a research environment. A Ph.D. or equivalent in biomedical sciences and experience with cell and molecular biology assays, manuscript preparation, and publication are required; cancer biology and cell cycle or DNA damage response experience are preferred.
