Description
The Precision Assembler independently disassembles, repairs, and assembles rotating equipment, pumps, and nuclear pump assembly components while following work instructions, engineering prints, and safety procedures. The role includes precision inspection, component documentation, hydrostatic pressure testing, balancing, painting, packaging, and shipment preparation. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, or repair experience, and preferably five years of experience with nuclear safety-related pumps. The position may require overtime, weekend and holiday work, and approximately 25% travel to secondary repair facilities.
