Description
The Field Service Supervisor supports the service department by coordinating customer inquiries, scheduling and prioritizing field-service jobs, communicating service updates, managing technician workloads, coordinating with service, parts, shop, and vendor departments, and handling service-call administration, quoting, reporting, and collections. The role also supervises and dispatches field-service personnel, conducts performance reviews and coaching, enforces safety policies, and supports hiring, training, and disciplinary actions. Candidates need a high school diploma, 4–6+ years of customer-service or related experience, strong customer relations and communication skills, basic PC and word-processing ability, and the ability to work long periods seated; an associate’s degree in management or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
