Early Warning is hiring a Principal Platform Security Engineer to lead enterprise platform security engineering across products, platforms, and shared services. The role defines secure target states, architecture patterns, technical standards, control strategies, reusable frameworks, automation, and risk-reduction approaches; partners with senior engineering, infrastructure, product, and security leaders; resolves complex cross-domain technical challenges; and mentors senior engineers. The position requires extensive platform, infrastructure, software, and security engineering experience, technical leadership without formal people management authority, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. It is available in Phoenix, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York, with hybrid work in the first three locations, and offers base pay of $184,000–$230,000 in Phoenix and Chicago, or $221,000–$$276,000 in San Francisco, plus benefits and a discretionary incentive plan.
