Description
Genentech is hiring a Principal/Senior Principal Engineer to lead the design, qualification, startup, and ongoing operation of a greenfield packaging area in its Holly Springs, North Carolina drug-product fill-and-finish facility. The role covers labeling, secondary packaging, equipment selection, testing, validation, regulatory compliance, operator and maintenance-technician training, continuous improvement, and new-product introductions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar field, 8+ years of pharmaceutical packaging experience for the Principal level or 12+ years for the Senior Principal level, and experience with technology transfers, process validation, regulatory submissions, and health-authority inspections. The position requires full onsite work initially, with domestic and international travel, and offers a salary range of $95,000–$186,000 for the Principal Engineer and $114,400–$212,400 for the Senior Principal Engineer.
