Description
NVIDIA is hiring a Principal Rack Scale Systems Infrastructure Engineer to define and build software systems for rack-scale infrastructure products and services. The role covers control planes, orchestration, firmware, operating systems, kernel drivers, networking fabrics, accelerator software, and infrastructure-as-a-service management, while bridging hardware and software teams and partnering with hyperscalers, cloud service providers, customers, and vendors. The engineer will also mentor senior engineers and make high-level technical decisions in complex, ambiguous environments. The position requires a BS or MS in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least 15 years of systems architecture or infrastructure engineering experience, and expertise in Go, C++, or Rust, Kubernetes, data center networking, accelerator systems, and in-band and out-of-band management. The base salary range is 272,000 USD to 431,250 USD, with equity and benefits, and applications were accepted until October 8, 2026.
