Microsoft is hiring a Principal Technical Program Manager for its Azure Data Platform team to lead complex, cross-organizational readiness and operational excellence programs across Microsoft Fabric and related workloads. The role establishes shared definitions of readiness, health, quality, risk, and completion; coordinates engineering, product, operations, and partner teams; tracks infrastructure and live-site health; identifies risks and systemic issues; and builds automated solutions to improve execution predictability and operational efficiency. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years managing cross-functional projects. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $142,800-$274,800 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
