Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is hiring a Process Engineer I in its Chapel Hill office to provide engineering solutions for clients in biotechnology, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical markets. The role involves developing P&IDs, equipment and piping specifications, hydraulic sizing, heat transfer calculations, process data analysis, process hazard analysis, field surveys, vendor quotation and submittal review, and consulting, design development, commissioning, and startup services. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited school, a minimum GPA of 2.5, and a non-academic process engineering internship or co-op; EIT certification is a plus.
