Description
Protolabs is hiring an onsite Production Manager for its 3D Printing service line in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role owns the end-to-end additive manufacturing value stream, including scheduling, build preparation, processing, finishing, inspection, staffing, capacity planning, inventory, purchasing, safety, quality, maintenance, cost management, and continuous improvement. The manager leads supervisors and high-potential employees and partners with finance and other functions to improve forecasting, planning, and operational performance. A bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering, at least four years of supervisory manufacturing experience, and at least eight years of manufacturing or operations experience are required; prior 3D printing, large-team, Lean, and continuous improvement experience is preferred.
