Description

NC State University’s Department of Psychology is seeking a Project Coordinator to support an NIH-funded research initiative through May 31, 2027, with possible continuation if new grant funding is awarded. The role coordinates complex, multi-institutional research activities; manages project deliverables, timelines, workflows, documentation, meetings, and administrative processes; and serves as a liaison among investigators, institutional partners, and stakeholders. The position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a Monday-Friday schedule, and requires a valid North Carolina driver’s license. The posting is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple teams, institutions, or stakeholders
Experience organizing and analyzing complex information, identifying project risks, and coordinating solutions
Experience managing multiple deadlines, maintaining project records, and working with academic and federal partners
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Health, Gerontology, Psychology, Health Policy, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience
Analytical and research skills with large-dataset and federal research repository experience
Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, and large-scale events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with project tracking and virtual collaboration tools
Project management training or certification
