Description
The STRIDE Teacher provides classroom instruction to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in CFCC’s Adult Basic Education program, covering reading, math, computer literacy, employability skills, and the IDD curriculum. Responsibilities include lesson planning, field trips, driving a non-CDL school vehicle, maintaining student records, supporting career-pathway planning, and overseeing teaching-area policies. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, a valid North Carolina driver’s license, previous teaching experience, and experience with the IDD population.
