Description
The employer is seeking an Automotive Quality Engineer to oversee manufacturing quality control systems for high-strength fasteners used in automotive OEMs. The role leads APQP and PPAP submissions, conducts root-cause analyses and corrective actions, maintains quality documentation, monitors SPC and manufacturing capability metrics, and serves as the technical contact for customer complaints and supplier audits. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or metallurgical engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience, at least three years of quality engineering experience in a Tier-1 or Tier-2 automotive manufacturing environment, and strong knowledge of automotive quality tools and IATF 16949 requirements.
