Responsibilities include providing actionable insights, mitigating losses through transaction monitoring, delivering presentation recommendations, validating statistical models, handling large datasets using Big Data tools, assisting with model documentation, and ensuring strategy performance tracking.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: experience in advanced quantitative analyses, model development and monitoring for large organizations (>10,000 employees) in or for the financial services industry
Preferred Qualifications: managing, processing and analyzing large-scale datasets (multiple gigabytes of data)
using statistical analysis techniques including logistic regression, time series analysis, machine learning algorithms, and hypothesis testing
utilizing data query tools including SQL, Python, Hadoop and Spark to manipulate, analyze and interpret data
executing complex queries to clean and extract usable information from large data sets of numerical and textual data
designing rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to customers or company leaders
programmatically extracting data from a database and an API and transforming the data into presentable form including either a ROC curve, map, or Tableau visualization
