Description
The Clerk & Recorder records, preserves, and indexes legal documents such as deeds, land surveys, plats, UCC filings, and liens; issues and registers marriage licenses; assesses and collects fees; maintains cash management; and provides public service and record-search assistance. The role requires regular in-person attendance, a Monday–Friday schedule with possible Saturday rotation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and two years of customer service or administrative experience. The position pays $44,000–$48,000 annually and requires a valid driver's license, background checks, and successful swearing-in as an agent of the Clerk & Recorder's Office.
