Easterseals PORT Health is hiring a full-time Program Supervisor for its EMPOWER Recreation & Wellness program in Wilmington. The role plans, facilitates, and implements recreational and wellness activities; supports program operations; recruits and interviews direct-support staff; reviews participant files; and assigns staff based on participants’ capabilities. The position supervises direct-care recreation para-professionals, requires a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekends, and offers a competitive salary, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits. Applicants need two years of supervisory experience overseeing staff and program activities, while a bachelor’s degree in recreation, special education, or a related human-service field and experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations are preferred.
