Description
The Med-Surg RN travel-nurse role provides 12-hour shifts from 1845 to 0715, with call as needed, float to similar units and alternate care locations, every-other-weekend and holiday coverage, and a 1:6 patient ratio. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, has approximately 43 daily census, and includes procedures such as heparin drips, wound vac dressings, and high-flow oxygen. BLS is required, two years of experience is required, CPI is preferred, and charge-nurse experience is preferred for night-shift travelers. Contracts of 36 and 48 hours are accepted, with longer contracts available through 2/27/2026. Contract staff may be assigned to Storm or Hurricane Teams and may be required to work during catastrophic events or disasters.
