Description
The ED Holding Unit is hiring a Traveler Registered Nurse for a mixed medical-surgical and telemetry unit within the emergency department. The role provides acute care for adult patients awaiting inpatient beds, including telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia management, airway and respiratory support, line and medication care, and float to ED and MedSurg as needed. The position requires at least two years of experience, Traveler experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and EKG testing before starting. It is scheduled for night shifts of 36 or 48 hours, with a maximum of seven days of RTO, every-other-weekend availability, and possible assignment to Storm or Hurricane teams.
