SGS is hiring an entry-level Sample Custody Specialist for its Wilmington, North Carolina laboratory. The role greets clients, receives and documents samples, prepares bottle kits and sample media, maintains chain-of-custody records in LIMS, transfers and ships samples, and disposes of expired samples. The position requires a high school diploma, advanced English, basic mathematical and reasoning skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; environmental laboratory experience and an associate degree in a science-related field are preferred.
