Description
The Satellite Operator will perform real-time Command and Control, telemetry, tracking, and commanding for Military Satellite Communications systems supporting the 10th Space Operations Squadron. Responsibilities include spacecraft and ground-network interaction, mission planning and scheduling, anomaly monitoring, payload and instrument support, ground-system configuration, and operational documentation. The role requires rotating 8-hour shifts in the Satellite Operations Center at Point Mugu, California, with occasional travel, and requires an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and completion of specified training and qualification requirements.
