The role involves designing and developing software and web applications, integrating APIs, supporting releases, documenting technical work, mentoring junior engineers, evaluating performance metrics, coordinating with quality assurance and vendors, and presenting architectural decisions. The position requires 4+ years of Python and Django experience, RESTful API development, PHP, Kubernetes/EKS, AWS, and production deployment experience, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The Illinois pay range is $129,515.93 to $194,273.89, with a 30-day application window.
