Checkout.com is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer I to support the design and implementation of secure AI-enabled capabilities across its Checkout platform. The role focuses on securing AI tools, models, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure; assessing AI-related security, privacy, and compliance risks; establishing guardrails and reference architectures; reviewing AI deployments; and building monitoring, detection, and response capabilities. The engineer will also explore how AI can improve cyber defence operations and will collaborate with engineering, data governance, GRC, legal, and business teams. The position requires experience in security engineering or architecture, cloud security, AI/ML and LLM concepts, and complex security assessments, and offers a hybrid model with three days per week in the office.
