The Genie Company is seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electronic and motor control systems for residential and commercial door openers and accessories. The role covers feasibility studies, electrical design, schematics, PCB layout, RF circuit design, prototype bring-up, regulatory compliance, manufacturing support, technical investigations, and mentorship. Candidates need strong electrical engineering fundamentals, PCB and embedded-systems experience, electrical CAD proficiency, and a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 8+ or 6+ years of relevant industry experience, respectively.
