Checkout.com is hiring a Senior Engineer in Payments Engineering Operations to scale efficiency across its development lifecycle by identifying and automating manual work, designing resilient microservices, operating systems, and mentoring engineers. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, strong backend or full-stack software engineering knowledge, communication and problem-solving skills, and AI curiosity; payments or financial knowledge is a plus. The position follows a hybrid model with three days per week in the office.
