Roche/Genentech is hiring a QC Microbiology Team Leader to establish and lead the microbiology quality control team at its Holly Springs, North Carolina greenfield drug-product manufacturing facility. The role begins with laboratory start-up and facility, utility, and process qualifications, then transitions to routine commercial operations. Responsibilities include building a compliant and safe laboratory culture, managing QMS records, validating and transferring methods, supporting regulatory inspections, leading strategic projects, and optimizing budgets and resources. Candidates need a science-related B.S. or M.S., at least eight years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience, including three years in finished drug-product commercial QC, plus expertise in microbiology, contamination control, cGMP, and regulatory requirements. The expected salary is $120,100 to $223,100, with relocation assistance available.
