Mixpanel is hiring a Detection & Response Security Engineer to own detection and response across product, cloud, corporate infrastructure, and identity. The role will build and scale detection-as-code alerting in Google Security Operations, develop playbooks for application-layer abuse and social engineering, lead EMEA security incidents, manage threat intelligence, and maintain core security infrastructure. Candidates should have experience with modern security programs, high-volume SaaS environments, Google Cloud data pipelines, Python automation, and AI-assisted security workflows. The position offers £103,000–£139,500 GBP in total target cash compensation plus equity and medical, vision, and dental benefits.
