Description
Samsara is hiring a Senior Threat Detection Engineer to build and operate MITRE ATT&CK–aligned detections across cloud, endpoint, identity, email, and application telemetry. The role owns the detection lifecycle, detection-as-code platform, data pipelines, CI/CD, threat intelligence, AI-assisted detection, and integrations, while partnering with Security Operations and other engineering teams. Candidates need at least six years of security or detection engineering experience, strong Python and SQL skills, modern SIEM experience, and knowledge of AWS, Linux, containers, and EDR. The position is open to candidates residing in the United States except in the San Francisco Bay, New York City, and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas and offers an annual base salary of $157,675 to $238,500 USD.
