Description
Bloomberg is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Analytics Platform team in New York to build and modernize distributed infrastructure that powers core analytics systems such as CalcrtX, BQL, and the legacy Calcrt platform. The role focuses on designing scalable microservices, APIs, gateways, entity resolution, and entitlement infrastructure, improving performance and reliability of high-volume analytics systems, and developing reusable tooling and frameworks using technologies like Modern C++, Java, Python, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Apache Arrow, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux. The position requires at least 4 years of experience, strong distributed systems and system design skills, and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
