Description
2K is hiring a Backend Engineer to design and develop robust, scalable, and highly performant backend microservices and APIs. The role owns service-domain maintenance, collaborates with product, design, and game teams, optimizes infrastructure and runtime costs, reduces technical debt, and modernizes legacy systems. Candidates need 3–8+ years of backend and microservices experience with Go or Java, knowledge of HTTP and gRPC, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, distributed systems, observability, authentication, secure coding, and compliance. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, and the position is hybrid with no visa sponsorship.
