Google is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Google Distributed Cloud Hosted (GDCH) Node Platform team. The role involves writing and testing product or system code, participating in or leading design reviews, reviewing other developers’ code, contributing documentation, and triaging and debugging product or system issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, and extensive experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, operating systems, and Linux distributions. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD, data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership experience, and accessible technology experience. The listed compensation is $174,000–$252,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
