KBR is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to support the Air Force Research Laboratory’s development team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with an alternative onsite location in Beavercreek, Ohio. The role leads the design, development, maintenance, architecture, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and sustainment of high-velocity data stream processing systems, while mentoring engineers and coordinating cross-functional technical efforts. Candidates need 5–8 years of software development experience, strong Java, Python, or object-oriented programming experience, distributed-systems and high-throughput data-processing experience, a U.S. government Top Secret/SCI clearance, and U.S. citizenship. Compensation is $115,900–$173,800 for the Colorado Springs area and $110,400–$165,500 for the Beavercreek area.
