Description
Q2 is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to identify high-leverage problems, design and build end-to-end observability platforms and tools, and create scalable systems that other engineers can use. The role combines full-stack software development, cloud and DevOps infrastructure, event-driven automation, AI-enabled systems, and cross-team leadership. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of related experience, expertise in observability platforms, and proficiency with C# or Go, REST APIs, Linux and Windows scripting, and analytics tools. The position offers hybrid work opportunities and requires U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
