Bloomberg is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the BQL platform in New York. The role focuses on building and scaling Bloomberg Query Language, which provides unified access to Bloomberg data and analytics through APIs, Excel, BQuant, and internal terminal functions. The engineer will work on large, complex distributed systems, improve infrastructure and workflows for onboarding datasets, and collaborate on design, implementation, and problem solving across a core team of 100+ engineers.
