Samsara is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to evolve the cloud foundations supporting its products. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating reliable multi-account, multi-region AWS infrastructure; improving scalability, capacity, isolation, recovery, and cost efficiency; establishing infrastructure-as-code and reusable automation; leading ambiguous technical initiatives; participating in incident response; and mentoring engineers. Candidates need at least six years of experience designing software, infrastructure, or distributed systems, deep expertise in one infrastructure domain, strong software-engineering fundamentals, cloud and infrastructure-as-code experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. The position is remote for candidates residing in the United States and offers an annual base salary of $154,700 to $260,000 USD.
