Description
Morgan Stanley is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Vice President level, for its Structured Credit & Financing Technology team in New York. The role provides intraday desk-facing coverage for Credit Repo, Credit Exotics, and related Genesis trading tools; resolves production issues; and develops and improves trading, risk, margin, settlement, reporting, and workflow automation. The engineer will work across UI, service, data, and integration layers, partner with traders and global technology teams, and contribute to platform stability, reliability, modernization, and strategic enhancements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative or computational discipline, hands-on software development experience, server-side application experience, distributed-systems knowledge, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include front-office technology, trading, risk, pricing, and financial workflow experience. The expected base pay is $155,000 to $215,000 per year.
