Efficient Computer is hiring a Senior Staff Linux Runtime Software Engineer to own the user-mode components of its Fabric accelerator runtime, including the user-mode driver, compiler interfaces, HAL, memory and resource management, and support for PyTorch, ONNX, and TensorFlow backends. The role covers pre-silicon development across QEMU, functional simulation, emulation, and FPGA environments, runtime testing, and collaboration with compiler, kernel, architecture, micro-architecture, and verification teams. Candidates need at least seven years of systems software experience, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and expertise with Linux user-mode drivers, accelerator runtimes, and pre-silicon environments.
