Description
The Severe Needs Para Educator supports students with severe special education needs under licensed special education staff, assisting with individualized curriculum, accommodations, behavior strategies, assignment completion, instructional materials, progress monitoring, and achievement records. The role may include classroom, ILC, homebound, and remote learning assignments, with responsibilities such as behavior monitoring, de-escalation, physical care, technology support, and documentation. No professional work experience is required, but a high school equivalency diploma and required training are needed; public-sector and special-education experience are preferred.
