Description
The Severe Needs Para Educator supports students with severe special education needs under licensed special education staff, adapting curriculum, implementing IEP accommodations, monitoring progress, preparing instructional materials, and providing physical care and behavior support. The role may serve students in autism, behaviorally disordered, early childhood, homebound, ILC, SED, and transition programming, and may work in remote or online learning environments. No professional work experience is required, but a high school equivalency diploma and required training are needed; public-sector and special-education experience are preferred.
