The Social Worker I provides professional support to agency clients, performs case management and foster care services for children and families referred for child protective services, assesses needs, develops service and intervention plans, manages cases, makes referrals, conducts home visits and risk assessments, arranges placements, and prepares reports and court materials. The role works under the supervision of a Social Work Supervisor, requires a relevant social work or human services degree plus related experience, a valid North Carolina driver license, and offers a starting salary of $48,467 for qualified candidates.
