Foray is hiring a Software Engineer to build the software and data foundation for Pando, its plant-science workspace. The role covers backend services, APIs, data infrastructure, scientific and experimental data systems, workflows that convert unstructured sources into structured data, and tools supporting machine learning and predictive applications. The engineer will partner with software engineers, biologists, and machine learning researchers, own technical and architectural decisions, and establish data-quality and reproducibility practices. The position is on-site in Greater Boston, Massachusetts, requires authorization to work in the United States, and offers $105,000-$130,000 plus equity.
