Description

Artech is hiring a Software Engineer-Developer in Colorado Springs, Colorado for a 12+ month W2 contract with possible extension. The role supports the Ballistic Missile Defense System and C2BMC systems by developing Java-based mathematical algorithms, contributing to the software development lifecycle, and executing integration and test activities. Applicants must have a relevant bachelor’s degree, substantial engineering experience, TS/SCI clearance, Java or Java Spring experience, and prior client or industry experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science
Required Previous Experiences: 9 years of work-related engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 7 years with a master’s degree, or 4 years with a PhD
Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with Java or Java Spring
Prior work experience at a client or in the client’s industry
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with integration and test processes, tools, and metrics
Experience in software requirements and architecture development for MDS systems
Experience with agile planning and execution using established processes
