Athene is hiring a Software Engineer for its Developer Services team to build platforms, reusable tools, automation, and engineering practices that enable teams to develop high-quality software. The role focuses on application reference architectures, AI-enabled engineering capabilities, internal developer platforms, cloud-native and DevOps practices, and hands-on consulting and training with engineering teams. Candidates need at least three years of relevant software engineering or platform experience, web development experience with Python, TypeScript, React, or a comparable stack, cloud and CI/CD experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
