John Deere is hiring an onsite Software Test Engineer II - Hardware in the Loop (HiL) for its Turf & Compact Utility Engineering team at the Morrisville Engineering Lab in Morrisville, North Carolina. The role develops hardware-based verification environments, supports modeling and simulation, and installs, verifies, upgrades, and troubleshoots HiL systems and related electronics. Required skills include embedded software test automation, MATLAB/Simulink, electrical schematics, oscilloscope troubleshooting, and problem-solving; experience with ALIARO or ETAS HiL hardware, J1939 CAN, and simulation infrastructure is preferred. The position offers a base salary of $86,892 to $130,332 plus benefits and does not provide visa sponsorship.
